Reliance Machine Products was founded in 1981 by company President and CEO Kelly Hill. Since its’ inception, the company has had a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Reliance Machine Products initially machined components for small local companies, before attracting larger clients in the aerospace, medical and semiconductor industries.

As the business grew over the succeeding years, Reliance Machine Products purchased additional CNC equipment and recruited additional employees to meet the needs of the growing business. Understanding the requirements of a technologically advanced market, Reliance Machine Products began to recruit employees with diversified skill sets, in addition to experienced machining backgrounds. In 1995 the company was relocated to its current 12,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA after outgrowing the smaller building where it all began. From one CNC machine, Reliance Machine Products has currently grown to 31 state of the art machining centers with milling and turning capabilities and has over 40 highly skilled employees with a wealth of combined machining experience.
